Cambodia

Cambodian Food Although Cambodian food mostly consists of stir-fries, there were a few interesting specialties. “Amok” is a thick, coconut-based stew, usually served with tender freshwater fish from the nearby Tonle Sap, a giant lake that provides much of the country's protein. Sometimes the stew was served in a hollowed-out, fresh green coconut. Cambodian rice is especially tasty.
